Great Poly-Hierarchical Vespers at the celebrating Church of St Nektarios in Aegina
With great solemnity, on the evening of Saturday, 8 November 2025, a Grand Poly-Hierarchical Vespers was celebrated in the magnificent Church of St Nektarios in Aegina, presided over by His Grace Bishop Apostolos of Tanagra, who also preached the holy sermon, with the concelebration of His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos II of Chalkida, His Eminence Metropolitan Ephraim of Hydra, Spetses, and Aegina, and His Grace Bishop Nicodemos of Epidaurus.
In his thoughtful greeting, Metropolitan Ephraim warmly thanked the hierarchs for their presence and imparted his paternal blessings, invoking the grace of Saint Nektarios upon all.
In his homily, Bishop Apostolos reflected on the sacred value of the human body, drawing upon scriptural and patristic sources.
The service was attended by local authorities and a large congregation of the faithful, many of whom had travelled from Romania.
