Greek Orthodox community of Addis Ababa re-dedicates chapel

The Metropolitan of Axum, His Eminence Daniel, this week officiated at the dedication of the renovated cemetery chapel of the St. George in Addis Ababa, a project funded by the ethnic Greek community in the capital of Ethiopia.

The project and dedication had the blessing of the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II.
Greece ambassador to Ethiopia, Anna Farrou, and the president of the ethnic Greek community, Demetrios Sykas, were also present.
