On Monday, March 3rd, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America led the HCHC campus Clean Monday Retreat.
The day started with Orthros in the Chapel, followed by an Archpastoral Address from His Eminence. Students then met with spiritual mentors, received confession, and spent time in personal prayer.
After brunch in Condakes Refectory, the community gathered for the Holy Unction service presided by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros and including the participation of His Grace Bishop Joachim of Amissos, His Grace Bishop Anthony of Synada, and other campus clergy. In the afternoon, seminarians participated in a discussion and Q&A session with Archbishop Elpidophoros on maintaining spiritual growth in ordained ministry.
The retreat continued with Vespers, followed by dinner. The day concluded with Great Compline, setting a prayerful tone for the Lenten journey ahead.
