Interview by Archbishop of Mt. Sinai Damianos to Orthodoxia news agency
The Orthodox Archbishop of Mt Sinai and Raithu, His Eminence Damianos, spoke with the Orthodoxia news agency this week.
He recounts how the faith’s calling brought him to Sinai, the blessed moments of his life and the temptations he faced during his ministry in the desert.
Damianos discusses the issue of terrorist attacks in the Middle East and the constant threats faced by the priests and monks living at the ancient St. Catherine Monastery in the Sinai. He also sharply criticized the recently ratified Prespa agreement.
