Memorial service for repose of the soul of Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens, on 13th anniversary of his passing – (VIDEOS + PHOTOS)

A Divine Liturgy and memorial service was held today for the repose of the soul of Archbishop Christodoulos, on the occasion of the 13th anniversary since the passing of the beloved Archbishop of Athens and All Greece.

The services were held at the chapel of the Athens First Cemetery, with many of the reposed Archbishop’s spiritual offspring attending, and co-officiated by the Metropolitan of Corfu and the Diapontian Islands, His Eminence Nektarios.

Christodoulos reposed in the Lord in the early morning hours of Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at his home in Athens, struck down by cancer.
