New Greek PM receives Archbishop of Tirana & All Albania Anastasios

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday afternoon received the Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, His Beatitude Anastasios, at the Maximos Mansion government house in Athens.
During their meeting, the primate of the Albanian Orthodox Church requested Mitsotakis’ continued support so that the Church in Albania can resolve problems that it faces in order to continue its pastoral and spiritual work. Developments in the neighboring country were also discussed.
On his part, Mitsotakis expressed praise for the Archbishop and reassured that his administration will support the Orthodox Church’s efforts.
