Pan-Orthodox organizations in NYC convene to deal with homelessness

A meeting between 10 Pan-Orthodox organizations was held in New York City on Friday, to focus on efforts at reducing the problem of homelessness in the metropolis. Twenty experts met at the Archdiocese of America’s offices, under the blessing of the Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros.
The group decided to reconvene once a month via video conference to enhance Pan-Orthodox humanitarian collaboration in the face of the crisis.
