Patriarch John X calls many bishops in Lebanon

“What is happening is heartbreaking. Our prayers are for peace in Lebanon, Syria and the whole world”

Patriarch John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for the Greek Orthodox contacted many hierarchs in Lebanon by phone: Rev. Metropolitans Elias Audi (Beirut), Elias Kfoury (Tyre and Sidon), Silouan Moussa (Mount Lebanon), Basilios Mansour (Akkar), Ephrem Kyriakos (Tripoli and Koura), and Antonios Al-Souri (Zahle and Baalbek). His Beatitude inquired about the conditions of the people in ater the devastating war waged by Israel. He stressed the need for solidarity and coordination in this difficult time in which devastation and destruction are looming, sparing no place.
