Phanar: The Feast Day of Saint Stachys the Apostle, the first Bishop of Byzantium
On the occasion of the Feast of Saint Stachys the Apostle, first Bishop of Byzantium, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy took place on Thursday, 31 October 2024, at the Venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George at the Phanar, and was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Theodoros of Seleucia. On Wednesday, the eve of the Feast, Metropolitan Theodoros officiated at the Great Vespers, during which His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was present joined in prayer.
