Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross at Cathedral church in Novi Sad

Bishop Dr. Irinej of Backa: Епископ бачки др Иринеј: „Christ saves the world and man with His Cross and His Resurrection. By participating in His Cross, by which He saves us, we also participate in His Resurrection – it becomes our Resurrection.”

On Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross, 4 April 2021, His Grace Bishop Dr Irinej of Backa officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, clergy of the Diocese of Backa and deacons of Novi Sad at the Cathedral church in Novi Sad.

During the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Dr Irinej of Backa ordained deacon Djordje Cvijanovic from Djurdjevo to the rank of presbyter.
