Turkish media: More damage at Hagia Sophia reported

New reports have emerged in Turkish media pointing to more damage to the 6th century Hagia Sophia cathedral in Constantinople, which was re-converted into a mosque by the Erdogan regime 2020.
Photos taken by a Turkish archaeologist show damage to the Imperial Gate, while local archaeologists and historians have referred to cracks in the floor of the greatest of all basilicas of eastern Christendom and vandalism on its doors.

According to the Turkish mass daily Cumhuriyet, Hagia Sophia is now visited by around one million people a month, with the result being considerable damage and deterioration, especially since its conversion into a mosque.
