Reposed Metropolitan Emanuel of Kilkis laid to rest

The reposed in the Lord Metropolitan of Polyani and Kilkis Emanuel was interred on Wednesday at the Holy Monastery of St. George of the Hill, outside the northern town of Kilkis.
An Exodios funeral service was held earlier at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Kilkis, where clergy and the faithful paid their last respects to the departed hierarch.
All Covid-19-related public health precautions, such as the wearing of face masks, and social distancing protocols were in place.
