Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiates at Sunday of the Holy Myrrh-bearers Divine Liturgy

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, officiated at the Sunday of the Holy Myrrh-bearers Divine Liturgy, at the Catholicos of the Patriarchal and Stavropegic Monastery of Baloukli.
In attendance for the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy, which was conducted with the centuries-old rite of the Mother Church, were the Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, His Eminence Nikitas, as well as many hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne and other Orthodox Archdioceses.

After the Divine Liturgy, His All Holiness conducted a Trisagon prayer service at the grave of his reposed predecessor, Patriarch Demetrios.
