With the Blessing of Bishop Silvester, the priests of the Northern region of the diocese met in Gulu

The Vicar of the Region Rev.Fr. Emmanuel Oruku addressed priests on behalf of Bishop Silvester who is in Hospital under treatment for some good days. Fr. Oruk communicated His Message to Priests for Christmas, for the coming Election period in which the Bishop is asking Priests to advocate for Peace and justice in fairness. The Bishop also called on all of them to be more careful of the Covid 19 Pandemic, and continue observing the SOP’s.
The Patriarchal Blessing and Christmas message was also delivered to the Priests who will also share it to the Faithful. Fr. Oruk called on all Priests to join hands and work together for the Lord, and not only wait from the Bishop in all but instead assist the Bishop more.
Prayers were offered for the Repose of the Soul of Rev Fr. Sekyewa Emmanuel of Kampala who passed on yesterday.
