Debut of Pemptousia Television

The new online Pemptousia television, which focuses on Orthodoxy, culture and the sciences, will soon debut with live programming, spiritual assemblies, interviews, travelogues, missions, documentaries, serials and assorted other events, as well as special content for children and young people.

Users from every corner of the world will have access to a prolific video archive, which includes features, documentaries and major historical and ecclesiastical events.

Navigation on the platform, www.pemptousia.tv — user-friendly, and is available 24 hours a day, in tandem with an extensive on-demand access to content.

A pilot period of operation commenced on Sunday, April 25, with the online platform debuting, in full, today, Great Thursday.

PemptousiaTV features cooperation with ecclesiastical, scientific and cultural entities, as well as with specific Metropolises, Orthodox missions, foundations and affiliated production companies in Greece, Cyprus and around the world.

PemptousiaTV’s inaugural operation is devoted to the ongoing Holy and Great Easter Week, with the reverent and splendorous lighting of the Holy Flame, annually conducted at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, to be live streamed on the evening of Holy Saturday, during the Resurrection Service.
