Archdiocese of America announces new body called ‘Senators for Orthodoxy and Hellenism’

The Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, on Thursday announced the creation of a special advisory body, called “Senators for Orthodoxy and Hellenism.” The new body is comprised of members able to bring both mentorship for new generations.
The aim of this Senate will be to advise the Archbishop, the Holy Eparchial Synod and the Archdiocesian Council on various matters concerning the Archdiocese of America — especially amid the drafting of a new Charter for the Greek Orthodox Church in America.
